The doubts of those who thought Biden was too old and frail to hold the most important job in the world have been solidified. While Trump was in his best shape ever in a TV studio—calm, disciplined, and putting forth his point in a manner that is comprehensible to the vast majority of the electorate—for those suffering from the opioid crisis, economic deprivation, and general disablement from the current establishment, Trump has won their vote. Any amount of lies he spews will not overshadow the explicit decline of Biden’s demeanor, like the visually appalling senior’s moment right at the beginning.
There are two months until the Democratic Convention. The Democrats must get their act together and find a nominee who is bold, competent, visionary, and most importantly, an implementer of the values that it bestows upon them, whether it be healthcare, wealth disparity, or women’s rights. Get your act together!
