After 10 years in power, it is safe to say that Modi has created a cult surrounding him that can be compared to that of Stalin and Hitler. People revere him as an avatar of Vishnu, a savior of the majority Hindus—from past prejudice against them by the West—and important of all the Muslim “infiltrators” (as he referred to them). Some even take inspiration from his dedication to the country, which is propagated by the “controlled media sphere.” The only lesson to be taken from this phenomenon is that no one amongst us is godlike, we are all products of this universe, and we are minuscule in terms of the vastness of the Cosmos. The narrative that is being drawn is to test the intelligence of the common man to see if he will be tainted by the opportunist or enlightened by his own thought process—free thinking.
